About the Role:

Trades Labour Hire have new opportunity for a Water Treatment Plant Operator/Technician to commence with a leading maintenance company to a pipeline project site in the Nortern Territory on a FIFO basis.

The Water Treatment Plant Operator will be responsible for maintaining and operating the filtering & chemical treatment proceeses on site. This will include completing routine inspections, repairs & services to all components of the water treatment plant including water intakes, pipes, water storage vessels, chemical treatment equipment controls, circulation pumps, boilers, or heat exchances/valves.

Completing these routine plant inspections, sampling, reporting of faults/maintenance required would be of a typical daily day.

Location:

You will be based at a site on a fly in fly out basis, with the site being approximetly 50kms from Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory.

Excellent facilites offered on site within the village, well looked after.

Requirements:

  • Trade Certification of Level 3 Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator or similar
  • Proven experience post trade on water sampling/testing techniques, inspection procedures, water & sanitation management
  • Clear understanding of AS/NZS 3500
  • C Class Drivers Licence or higher
  • Police Clearance or able to get
  • Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screening & Full Medical
